As a cloud solution, PepperQik not only makes it easy to integrate more than 100 different POS terminals into your cash register system: the universal interface no longer needs to be installed on your cash registers / servers, but now sits either in the cloud – or on your local network by request.
PepperQik supports both cloud-based and non-cloud-based communication protocols (e.g. ZVT or OPI) – and works for all common terminal models throughout the entire DACH region.

Here users can, for example, see all connected EFT terminals at a glance, manage users – and even view statistics for individual terminals or transaction types.
We’ve introduced a new billing model with PepperQik: billing is now per transaction. So if you have fewer transactions, you also pay less. Sounds fair, right?

How does PepperQik work?
In terms of technology, PepperQik is based on new logic: all communication protocols for a variety of EFT peers (e.g. EFT/POS terminals) are now managed via a single REST API.
This means you can access the REST API via an interface (e.g. a cloud cash register) – and can control all the connected terminals from there. Particularly for software integrators (with a wealth of customers) or large companies (with a wealth of EFT peers), this new architecture makes both deployment and daily operation much easier.

With PepperQik you can choose between three packages (Entry, Medium or Enterprise). These packages include a set number of transactions for a fixed monthly price.
If you have more transactions in a month, these are then billed individually. You can of course adjust your package at any time if your sales increase.

Yes, they can. That’s because we’ve developed our own software component for that purpose – PepperQik Satellite. Satellite is simply installed on the local network and handles communication instead of the cloud interface.
Yes, our PepperQik solution has been specifically developed for cloud-based cash register systems.
To test PepperQik for free, you just need to register on our test system – and then we’ll send you a test registration code. Please feel free to contact us at any time if you have questions.
You should allow around a day’s work for initial integration of the PepperQik REST API. It then takes about five minutes to connect new terminals.
PepperQik works no matter the operating system because it uses a REST API: the cloud service can be controlled by all modern cash register systems. For connection to specific end points, the integrator receives a standard REST API, incl. corresponding documentation with sample http requests and responses.
To use PepperQik you need to have a data line connected to the internet. The cloud service requires at least 100 KB/s for both download and upload.
PepperQik is our cloud solution, which is controlled using REST API. This means PepperQik works with cloud-based cash register systems and terminals just as well as it does with cash registers and terminals run locally by the retailer.
PepperQik is a cloud software service that is billed monthly or annually (with a discount). You can choose between different models depending on the number of transactions or operations you have per month. This means PepperQik can grow flexibly with your company.
